The modification allows to change the naming standard: Xxx:Yyy:1 to XxxYyy1 e.g. https://gist.github.com/jerzyjamroz/b5c897c1ded0983c9d5780c99a45bd2b

Looks fine to me, and I think is fine not to support base 3.14 (as it is now closed).
