ECDC is moving to weekly data publication: https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/en/publications-data/download-todays-data-geographic-distribution-covid-19-cases-worldwide

It will need some checking whether this breaks things in covidregionaldata and here. It might be worth exploring the alternative data sources available through the covidregionaldata package.
