Final todos for JOSS submission #391

Hi all, the JOSS submission is ready to be accepted but needs a few things ticking off:

[ ] Make a tagged release of the software, and list the version tag of the archived version here.
[ ] Archive the reviewed software in Zenodo
[ ] Check that the archival deposit has the correct metadata. In particular, the title and author list should be identical to those of the paper. You can also add the authors' ORCID.
[ ] Please list the DOI of the archived version here.

One done the submission will move forwards :)

Some others:

[ ] Update citation authorship and DESCRIPTION authorship (required for 3)
[ ] Update the package citation (wihtout doi for the moment).
[x] Add the hexsticker

I will update the author list in the description and citation but I am not sure how to make tag releases and the stuff with zenodo

I can do it once everything else is done (though its just clicking through some bits on the git interface). It would be good to sink with a CRAN update so if we could update the news etc as well that seems like a good idea.
