2 years ago Add a case study vignette using daily data and Omicron SGTF samples. This could include a discussion of AR case weighting, reporting delays, and truncation adjustments. To fit the package it should have some forecasting elements as well as potentially a discussion of what can be learned about the inferred parameters. @kathsherratt this might be an interesting adaption of your work (obviously at a later date).
The package could do with a vignette case study outlining the potential use case. Ideally this would include some element of validation (both prior and predictive checks) and simulated real-world use (i.e inferring transmissibility and forecasting performance).
As this vignette may be long-running it would potentially make sense to render if offline from Rmd -> md though ideally with some kind of check (perhaps a git hook) to make sure the vignette has been rerun for new major package versions.
