Installation on doctored Pre(-) running webOS 2.1? #5

A while ago, I used to run an even earlier version of wAMP on my German Pre(-) phone meta-doctored to run webOS 2.1, and overally this did behave quite well. Unfortunately, some day wAMP advised me to uninstall and reinstall, and after uninstalling, I figured out I can't re-install because it's not in the app catalog anymore. Browsing the online app catalog, I figured out that by now it is limited(?) to Veer and Pre2. Is there a way of installing it on older Pre phones running webOS 2.1? TIA, K.

If you check Pre Central's developer forum, you will see a thread for Audiophile. The ipk is available there. I can send you a direct link later if you can't find it.

Glad I could help. Probably won't be updating the Pre version until I get the TouchPad versions squared away, but the next release will hopefully bring more stability.
