Improve vectorised PMFs stan helpers using analytical solutions

Building on #100 we should also improve our vectorised helpers by implementing analytical solutions.

We should:

• [ ] Check the equations to make sure we do indeed expect a speedup
• [ ] Implement the PMFs in stan in a vectorised manner
• [ ] unit test PMFs against vectorised pmfs
