This "Optimizely Upgrade Assistant Extensions" only works with the legacy version of .NET Upgrade Assistant as the extensions are not yet supported in the new .NET Upgrade assistant (≥0.5.2).
In here it mentions,
"The version prior to 0.5.2 which is referred to as the legacy version, and the 0.5.2+ version which is the current version"
Thus, this should be mentioned in the README.md under the Known Issues.
