Do we want to add this to the README.Rmd as well? Not a hard requirement, more a thought.

I'm on the fence but I'm likely going to vote "no" at this time. The goal of the README is to provide a quick overview of what the package can do, which is done well at this point. The new feature is a more advanced "nice to have", and I would expect users are reading the full docs by the time they encounter this need.
