typo + question on scanner read style #549

Hello,

In lms.conf:

# Scanner read style for metadata, maybe be 'fast', 'average' or 'accurate'
scanner-parser-read-style = "average";

I think maybe be is supposed to be may be.

What does this setting does (in details)?
