The regex looks great for capturing the Simpsons characters and prioritizing the family members.
A thought: Let's try Python NLP on the text files using spaCy's named entity recognizer and see if it will output a distinct list of all the names--all gagillion of them!
We can then write a little code to find each of them in the corpus and tag them. I'm happy to help with this--if the data is interesting to see.

I loved your guys project, I grew up watching the show and you guys did an amazing job with the detail of the website and the graphs and data you pulled. I felt like all in all it was really well put together and the simpsons animations of yourselves was an amazing and creative touch.
