Managed to get similar results for iPhone XS Max. Youtube, paused at full brightness draws 320mA, when switched to Dark Theme – 170mA.

Used a cheap USB VC meter. Battery was fully charged, iPhone wasn't drawing any current when display off, Airplane mode was on.
