We want to identify users and personnel of our system by their initials rather than an image.

Describe the solution you'd like

Create standard badges or avatars with legible initials on coloured backgrounds instead of profile pictures.

Additional context

This is the current iteration of the Personnel page in Vortex, plus the profile tab open Screen Shot 2022-06-03 at 11 50 14

We expect the use of personnel badges to expand and for example include status like Slack and Teams Screen Shot 2022-06-03 at 11 54 02

We are looking into some improvements to Avatar in #2252, so we'll fit this when we get to work on that :D
