ERT - Ensemble based Reservoir Tool - is designed for running ensembles of dynamical models such as reservoir models, in order to do sensitivity analysis and data assimilation. ERT supports data assimilation using the Ensemble Smoother (ES), Ensemble Smoother with Multiple Data Assimilation (ES-MDA) and Iterative Ensemble Smoother (IES).
How to reproduce:
Add a some experiments by running esmda etc
Open the "Manage experiments" tool
Close it by clicking the X.
Observe that it takes some time to close
Might not be observable on a fast mac but surely observable on a slower desktop RHL machine
