The desktop edition can currently only run on windows. However, the application should be multi-platform as long as we add the configuration and installers for each supported platform.
Notes:
The commands in Src\WitsmlExplorer.Desktop\package.json is already configured to build the application for the platform it is running on.
The github workflow needs to be configured for other platforms (but can use nearly the same commands due to the point above).
Src\WitsmlExplorer.Desktop\electron-builder.json needs to be configured with installers for other platforms.
