The following KitTypes can accept an equipment id of 0 safely:
HEAD
CAPE
AMULET
WEAPON
SHIELD
When the player has an item equipped in one of these slots and doesn't want to show it, sometimes it can be done by changing an underlying kit id (for helmets), while for others, there's no good way of doing this. Perhaps surface a special search result for "nothing" that appears at the top of the results for these slots.
