Many months without updates and an impressive list of still open issues bring the question.

In terms of updates, the master branch is stable. So, it had a few updates recently.

In terms of open issues, the project is mostly maintained by @eranpeer. I've been trying to help out on a best effort basis recently.

But you are welcome to contribute.
