@salomepichon : faire un git pull. Tu peux voir ici précisément ce que j'ai changé dans le fichier geo suite au mail de hier de Ky sur le lieu de découverte de C. 157. J'ai

  1. corrigé l'orthographe de Cẩm Vân en Cẩm Văn
  2. déplacé l'entrée déjà existante pour Cẩm Văn en le casant sous le district de Điện Bàn
  3. enveloppé l'entrée dans un niveau intermédiaire (village de Điện Hồng)
  4. cité les infos de Ky dans une <note>

Tu remarqueras que je n'ai pas créé un hameau correspondant aux noms cités par Ky car nous ne savons pas où dans l'ancien village de Cẩm Văn, avant sa scission en trois hameaux, l'inscription a été trouvée.

@michaelnmmeyer : pour info. Un ancêtre de ce fichie geo-cic-dharma.xml avait été créé pour moi par Tom Elliott en 2009. Notre idée, avec Adeline, est de continuer à l'alimenter et améliorer encore un temps, puis d'en extraire les données pour créer des lieux avec identifiants dans PLEIADES. Ces identifiants seront ensuite liés aux inscriptions dans nos métadonnées. Tu nous le diras si tu as quelque choses à dire sur notre démarche.

@michaelnmmeyer — now I have started adding @ana to <place> to represent exactly which vietnamese term is relevant for the given @type, since the terms used for levels of administration don't seem 100% consistent from province to province and there is also inconsistency in translation, e.g. whether the level called xã is called "commune" or "village" in a given source or by a given informant. Does this use of @ana seem satisfactory to you? Would you have any other suggestion? Do we need to draw up a list of permissible terms at the top the file?

For the moment, I am working with these terms:

  1. Province (tỉnh) or City (thành-phố)
  2. District (huyện) or town (thì-xã)
  3. Commune (xã)
  4. Village (thôn)

A few minor additions will be necessary, e.g. for low-level urban units within cities/towns and for low-level rural unites below thôn.

The @ana attribute is not appropriate in this case. It is meant to hold URIs that point to elements in the same file (see here and here).

That said, it does not really matter whether the file is TEI-compliant at this stage, so you can keep doing that until it becomes clearer what to do (rework the @type/@subtype ontology, etc.)
