Report 70% #107

There is a new folder in the master with the partially unified format. I should have mentioned there is no easy way to do tables. I have been screen shotting them and including as png. I have to get back to work. If no one else gets to it I will finish and send it to Roy this afternoon.

An option is to import the cover page into the original and call it good.

profroyk commented 9 years ago

I certainly don't need a fancy cover page...it's what's inside that counts. :)

You may not, but it was something that Faust was big on in 411, the whole unified "feel" and consistency. So I guess the question would be is this totally on you ? I can post the unified doc to the repo later if that is the case, just for completeness, and in the mean time the copy on G-docs is good.

profroyk commented 9 years ago

Andrea, Mike and I determine your grades and I pass them on to Prof Faust. I suppose he could override our grades but I don't see why he would.

re: unified doc. I have ECE 540 demos from 4:30 PM - 9:30PM today so I'm not going to grade your written report. Take until Noon on Wednesday to get it to a point you are all proud of it.

@gstro @jmickiewicz @htylo @dfrister

HI, The report doc is in. Test plans added to the end. Review if needed. I am setting a reminder to forward to Roy at 11:30

gstro commented 9 years ago

Ha, the screenshots captured the spellcheck lines. I know you've been fighting with it awhile so I'm ok with it so far. Thanks for putting in that work.

erebuslabs commented 9 years ago

Heads up- Some of the apostrophes seem to have rendered as question marks.

e.g. "microcontroller?s ADC to act as a selector for a block?s"

gstro commented 9 years ago

@Debrant, if you get a break at work and can make some changes, make a note here that you've submitted. Otherwise, I can pull down the Google Doc and submit that at noon.

Debrant commented 9 years ago

I will check the screen shots and the apostrophes, @gstro is there anything else you see?

gstro commented 9 years ago

A search for question marks brings up a lot, so that's a good start. Mostly meant to be apostrophes and quotation marks.

Bottom of pg 15 starts a paragraph with a typo - "After the a..." should be "After a..."

That's all I got.

erebuslabs commented 9 years ago

Also noticed an Each missing an e...can't remember where, flying again...sorry... On Jun 10, 2015 10:15 AM, "Greg" notifications@github.com wrote:

Debrant commented 9 years ago

got it, I see the pg 15, will check Each

gstro commented 9 years ago

Ha, 3rd paragraph of pg 12 should start with a capital 'E' Also, those ?'s are in place of the 'Ω' for when the potentiometer is mentioned.

Debrant commented 9 years ago

easy fixes both

gstro commented 9 years ago

pg 13, middle of the second paragraph from the bottom, typo: "... are designated as temporarily as inputs ..." should be "... are designated temporarily as inputs ..."

Debrant commented 9 years ago

cool

what pages should the Ohm symbol on?

gstro commented 9 years ago

Searching for "potentiometer" shows pg 2 and 12.

Debrant commented 9 years ago
