I just randomly noticed but my history tab was wiped clean in the last week, I have absolutely no idea what could have triggered it since I haven't been updating my list much on Taiga but it just happened. I do have my own manual backup but it's a few months old and it's a shame to lose the data.
Simply have infinite backups made at either certain time intervals (say, once every day while Taiga is open) or just when you open/close Taiga, it makes a new backup.
Zip the data and it becomes extremely small, storage really shouldn't be a relevant issue (your torrents and cover images will take far much more space).
Things to backup:
-user folder
-settings.xml
-db/anime.xml (optional, this would actually start taking some relevant space over time)
Obviously a way to restore a data backup from within Taiga would be nice but I don't find it strictly necessary.
Maybe you better would use native OS backup management. Check it in file properties or control panel.
Also you may add these files to sync list of cloud service you use.
