hey, i wanted to try out your code for a project of mine, unfortunately python crashes when ever it tries to capture a chess board, it would be great if you can help, thank you

Sorry, I don't really understand the question. I'd need to know how it crashes, with what error, etc. - but most likely I won't be able to help because I don't have time to devote to deep digging. Hope it works out for you nonetheless!
