Let's make a list of public networks running Ergo on https://ergo.chat/ --- only those who are interested in being listed, of course.

If you operate a public Ergo and want to be listed, post a comment in this thread with details!

I'm not saying this is the solution for ergo, but Nitter has a publicly editable wiki for the same idea: https://github.com/zedeus/nitter/wiki/Instances

I was pondering such a solution with standardized fields etc but I just got this done for now. As I'm not sure what the consensus would be.

I'm envisioning a pretty simple display on the ergo.chat website, just network name, website, and ircs:// URL probably.

Network: tldr.chat Website: https://tldr.chat URL: ircs://irc.tldr.chat Main Channel: #tldr

Noted, I think I'll add a column noting the main channel on each network, barring any objections?

Are there any rules or criteria for networks to be listed?

slingamn commented 2 years ago

The criteria are "I know it when I see it."
