Issues with Idoma [idu] #103

There are some peculiarities in the Idoma [idu] translation most of which are also present in the original OHCR PDF document.

According to R.C. Abraham, "Idoma orthography", in Ayo Banjo, Orthographies of Nigerian Languages: Manual III, Lagos, National Language Center, 1985, the Idoma alphabet can be a b c d e ɛ=ẹ f g h i j k l m n ŋ o ɔ=ọ p r s t u v w y z with ẹ ọ preferred to ɛ ɔ by some authors.

In the original document, it seems should have been Ɛ or , ę and should have been ɛ or , ђ and should have been ŋ.

Because of the use of U+037B ɔ (which should likely be U+0254 ɔ), it seems likely the translation was intended to used ɛ.

Compare with the orthography and characters used in Ubáyíbu kú Idɔma, Bible Society of Nigeria, 2014?
