Am I blocked?

No. I can start the Home page without needing Django.

What I did

• Created #20 as a TODO for next week

• Finish basic look of home page
• Have Django running on my local machine from a git pull

No. The Django is setup and so I can work on the home page and other pages without any problems.

What I did

• Made sure Django could successfully run on my computer
• Started home page work item (#20) but wasn't able to finish it
• Contributed a storyboard (#24) and low-fidelity wireframe (#19)

  What I plan to do next week

• Finish basic look of home page
• Investigate Jinja (#23)

No. THe HTML/CSS/JS can continued to be work on without any issues.

What I did

• Finished the navbar and favor logo according to the wireframes as part of #20
• Started development of cards with OO JS

  What I plan to do next week

• Start making the exchange page that displays a card list of data
• User circle can be clicked on to bring up a login/logout and signup option

Am I blocked?

No. I can still work on adding new Django paths and styling up cards for the services.

What I did

• Made more finished product for what cards might look like #36
  • Styled cards more and made the style overall easier by using better CSS properties
  • Cards are now clickable and will take user to page that's blank except with card information
• Added unit tests for the login, signup, and home page views #38
• Work item for regression test #39

  What I plan to do next week

• Make unit tests for the give view
• Create a styled page for viewing "favor" information

No. There are lots of things to be worked on right now.

What I did

• Made more unit tests for testing views
  • Views tests made: add-favor, give, profile, show-service
  • Set up factories to generate model objects for you
• Changed styling on cards for favors to more closely resemble the wireframe for it

  What I plan to do next week

• Make good-looking page for viewing service information fully after being clicked on by user.

Am I blocked?

No. I will be working next week on possibly emails or more automated UI tests.

What I did

• Made first automated UI test (didn't take video cuz no software on Windows for it natively) #53
  • Bash script starts test
  • Screen pops up and a temp user login info is put into the textboxes and attempts to sign in the user
  • Test will actually fail if the login is unsuccessful, so tests functionality too
• Created dropdown popover for going to user profile or logging out when profile pic is selected #51

  What I plan to do next week

• Create the 4 remaining automated UI tests
• Possibly start on spike for researching sending emails

Am I blocked?

A little. For next week, I need to have the pending users working on the backend, which I think will is/will-be-soon implemented.

What I did

• Now there are 5 fully automated UI tests, as well as a selenium helper class to do some of the more mundane tasks you need, like login. #67
  • Bash script made prior now much more advanced to allow people to run from outside UI test directory, inside it, or run a different directory completely. Also handles errors and usage messages.
  • UI tests can be run individually or all at once with script
• Fixed some minor bugs in the home page #68 , #69

• Populate the User page with pending requests
