plotman interactive doesn't give feedback for inaccessible archive #503

On 2 machines, plotman interactive has stopped working ubuntu 20.04 plotman 0.3.1

other commands work. plotman version, status, plot, etc. Just interactive has stopped. This issue survives a reboot.

I also nuked my chia-blockchain folder, .chia, reinstalled chia, reinstalled plotman

same thing.

I can't see any way to do debug output etc so I'm a bit stuck here.

plotman dirs also doesn't work. Not error, just sits there. All the directories seem fine.

well I found it. so I'm converting the 'bug' here. I had archiving configured and the target machine is down. Should have some sort of check and error here or a verbose startup mode to help identify what's holding up the show.
