Thank you for your usage of Amazon Elastic Transcoder (ETS). After careful consideration, we have made the decision to discontinue ETS, effective November 13, 2025.
As an active ETS customer, you will be able to use the service as normal within AWS accounts which currently have active ETS pipelines until November 13, 2025, when support for the service will end. After this date, you will no longer be able to use ETS.
For additional information on the migration path from the ETS transcoder to the modern, cost-effective, and higher-performance transcoder solution, AWS Elemental MediaConvert [1], please review the blog post linked below [2].
If you are unable to take action before November 13, 2025 or have additional questions, please reach out to AWS Support [3].
