From Malcolm:
I'm using beta (2023.04.11.1) on ipad.
new flight
entered starting hobbs and starting tach.
pressed "tap for now" in engine start
pressed pause halfway through the flight, then unpaused a few minutes later
pressed "tap for now" in engine stop
MFB automatically filled in airport codes and correct number of landings.
filled in ending hobbs and tach.
tapped in "fuel added" and entered 7 (gallons)
tapped in "fuel cost" and typed 48.49... but the digits won't appear.
tapped "done" to exit out of fuel cost field. Fuel cost shows as light gray 0.09.
tapped on "fuel cost" to try again. digits still won't appear.
tapped "add" to finalize/save new flight.
tapped on flight to edit.
tapped on Fuel Cost" to enter 48.49. digits still won't appear.
Formatting as currency requires the currency symbol (and possibly others), which the numeric keypad doesn't offer, so nothing else works. Similar problem on reverse parsing. So just handle as plain decimal
