@ericmandel once this is merged I'll tag the master

The we can move to #19, #15, ... and prepare for a PyPI release.

What version is xpa currently?

current xpa is 2.1.16 ...

The version now in the setup.py is 1.7. So this is the starting point.

All my changes add python 3 but hopefully don't change the API, so probably make sense to tag it as 1.8 and bump the version to 1.8.

Then we do all the works we are outlining in various issues and release to PyPI as v2.0. @ericmandel does it sound like a plan?
