Speed of moon #169

On p. 309 (last sentence) it says: "The reason the Moon does not fall to Earth like a freely falling ball is that the Moon has just the right speed to keep moving in a circle around Earth."

Even if the Moon had just a slightly different speed, if would still not fall to Earth like a freely falling ball!
