Mario Tennis - Court Lighting vs Shadow #208

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
The players shadow is correct at night matches(image1) but the court
lighting(image3) is not displayed correctly.

On day matches, the shadow is wrong - rect-shaped(image2)

Rectangular shadows may be caused by unemulated texel swapping in the 2nd
combiner cycle. The attached screenshot was taken with Ziggy's debugger.
If I omit texel swapping in my plugin, I also get the rectangular shadow.

pokefan0.999, could you upload a savestate for a nightly match?

Attached savestate in 1964 & PJ64 format taken from 1964.
It is a replay and you can press B button to repeat the replay and it will be
shown from different camera angle.
You will see the shadow and court lightings and sky in one of the replay.

Thanks
I have seen these framebuffer effect on glide64 except that it wasn't
permanent(short flash) and always on the top upperleft rect.
