Zelda OOT menu issue #305

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the menu
2. Close the menu

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There are wrong textures at Link's hair. Inside a building there is the texture
of the Deku-shield. Outside there is the image of Link from the equipment menu.
If the Hylia-shield is used outside, Link's image is displayed on it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Project64 1.6 Glide64WIP_r269

Please provide any additional information below.
release1 works correct. I attach a srcreenshot and a save file with the
hylia-shield unlocked.

I load your save and tried to reproduce that bug - everything works ok for me.
Always.
That bug is HWFBE side effect, described in Glide64 docs. I get rid of it in
most games many months ago. Be sure that you use the Glide64.ini file from
Glide64WIP_r269. If the bug will appear again, switch fullscreen-window.

I am using the Glide64.ini file from Glide64WIP_r269. Changing buffer swapping
method to old makes it work but causes bad graphics. I have now tried 1964mod.
It works correct there, but opening the menu takes about 15 seconds.

It doesn't take 15 seconds to open the menu in 1964mod, enable cheat (it is off
by default) - then enable the menu fix cheat
