Does it work with trunk version?
General note:
It's better to report each issue separately, even when they are related to the
same
game. They can have different origins.

It works perfectly in the trunk version.
This problem happens to HWFBE_Fixes version only.

Could you upload a save for this problem? Just right before the problem appears.

It is going to be a problem. I can give u the savestate but I tried loading
back the
savestate and the problem disappears.
It seems loading back the savestate causes a FB issue in the pokemon portrait
that
fixes the issue ??? (see attached images).
Image07 shows your pokemon portrait corrupted in a savestate load (supposed to
be
good) and your opponent pokemon portrait is normal size in a savestate load
(supposed
to be oversized).
I can give u my FLA file with the set pokemons and you can start the game,
choose a
set and play (extra 2 minutes on your part). I can give some simple guide to
follow
(extra 1 minute on your part).
Is it ok?

Start game & follow thru' image1 to image9
1. Image1 - press A (hand cursor on "NO")
2. Image2 - press A
3. Image3 - press A (hand cursor on "Poke Cup")
4. Image4 - press A after moving & selecting "PokeBall"
5. Image5 - press A (hand cursor on "5 set(s)")
6. Image6 - press A (highlighted on 1st set)
7. Image7 - choose "Charizard" first & 2 others of your choice, then press A
(hand
cursor on "Yes"). Once you enter the Stadium & opponent pokemon appears, you
will
see the corruption.
8. Image8 - press A to start Battle
9. Image9 - select "UP+C" button for "Fire Punch" attack
10. Repeat step8-9 to defeat 2nd & 3rd opponent pokemon.
11. Once you defeat opponent for 1st badge, you see the other corrupted screen
(just
press A).
Hope the above is simple & clear enough.

You may have to set swapmode to "2" and use HWFBE "ON" otherwise it may hang
just
before entering the stadium.

Thanks!
I see the problem. My method of detecting texture frame buffer validness was
too
optimistic. More calculations must be done. Safe method is too slow thought, at
least on my PC. Attached is corrected version, with some trade-off between
performance and safety.

Tested your latest attached glide64 and it is very fast in terms of performance
compared to previous official version. It is the same as the trunk version
except
that it is faster and Slowking blurred body image is fixed in Pokemon Stadium 2
menu
selection screen. Have not done in-depth test but the reported issue is fixed.
Thanks - you may close this issue.

It is built from branch sources. The only change is in the frame buffer
validness
check. I'm trying to find and fix all regressions, caused by the modifications
in
HWFBE, so this report was very helpful. Thanks!
Closed.
