Produce a prototype that demonstrates how Plone can interface with a J2EE application and document this clearly #16

Many users need to integrate Plone with legacy or current Java/J2EE-based
applications. This can be
achieved by using REST or SOAP web services or similar. However, there is a
lack of documented
examples of this type of integration. Having examples to show off would
ultimately make it easier to
market Plone to a certain type of audience.

The task: Set up a prototype system that demonstrates a realistic degree of
integration between a
Java-based system and Plone. Think about authentication/security and
transaction management if
you can. Turn this into a tutorial on http://plone.org/documentation/tutorial
(you will need a
plone.org account).
