Create a Mac OS X installer that installs a buildout #29

A "buildout" is a new way to manage packages. See 
http://plone.org/documentation/tutorial/buildout. It would be preferable if the 
GUI installers 
installed a buildout rather than a custom package layout. This would make 
installations more 
consistent and controllable.

The task: Create a Mac OS X installer (using standard installer development 
tools) that creates a 
buildout.

Note - the installer should not assume that the user has a C compiler, Python 
or any 
other dependencies already installed.

Nothing happened here, but SteveM already has an alpha of the buildout-based 
Unified installer up at https://launchpad.net/plone/+download

Closure noted. Thanks. Plone-3.0.4-UnifiedInstallerBuildout-a3.tar.gz seemed to 
work fine on my MacBook 
Pro running 10.4.11.

I'll discover SteveM's identity and take things from there.
