Once you've done that, download a copy of plone 3 and install it.  Find
5-10 people (the more the better) who have never used plone before and
preferably have as little experience with making websites as possible.

Give them the following instructions:

1) Create a folder with your name as its title
2) Inside that folder make a simple website with a page containing a
paragraph about you as well as pages for a list of things you do and don't
like.  Make sure the pages link to each other.
3) Add a picture of your choice to the folder
4) Change one of your pages from 2 to include the picture you added

Don't worry if you get stuck, the idea is to see how easy this is without
reading the manual.

Don't help the people with the task, it's important they see how easy this
is without any help.

Watch the participants as they try this and make notes about what people
find easy to do, ask them afterwards what they found most confusing.

Produce a short report with your findings and any recommendations you can
think of.

Nice work, thanks!

Your work coincided very neatly with the re-launch of our web site, using Plone 
3, and a first group demonstration 
to contributing colleagues at CENTRIM, the research centre with which I work. 

Based on Wesley's report, and on feedback from the CENTRIM demonstration, 
I have produced a list of 'top ten tips'. Currently published at 
http://centrim.mis.brighton.ac.uk/extra/h/faq/easy 
-- but as our site in general, and its Plone Help Centre in particular 
are being developed, so that URL may change.
