Publishing an event without a Living Story category causes excerpt and body fields to go blank #16

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. If you publish the event and forget to add the Living Story category,
when you go back into the post to fix it, the excerpt and body fields are
blank.

Mac OSX, Firefox 3.5.9
