v1.0.6? Is that the first release beta you're using? That numbering system was
a bit confusing.
Current release is v1.0.4 r78, get the latest compiled version from

Not sure which 'beta' it is per se. They're by drk||Raziel and ZeZu. 1.0.3 is
a Aug 2008 build. 1.0.6, Nov 2007.
The plugins range from 2007-2008. The 1.0.3 version runs the game in HD but
with BGM that drops out after a few minutes leaving only effects audio, some of
which is intemittently muddled.
The 1.0.6 version has pretty much perfect audio reproduction, both BGM and
effects. However this comes at the price of a severe downgrade in grpahics
resolution, irrespective of plugins, powerVR etc settings. Some grpahical
glithces are present also.
I tried r78 ANd r77, but I'm getting a 'Verified Failed : TaCmd!=0 in
TASplitter::Dma -> src\ta.cpp : 19' with bother revisions upon attempting to
load a .cdi image and then the program crashes. (*Tried Project justice(U),
Choco Maker(J)), Powerstone(U), CvS 2001(J {.gdi})

Try to get r78 working, don't bother with the older versions (1.0.3 and 1.0.6)
- we won't support them here so I imagine this issue will be closed soon.
I've not seen that error before. Make sure you have the latest DirectX 9 and
the Visual C++ 2010 runtimes (link on the Project Home page). If you have
problems getting nullDC to work then please post in the NGEmu forum:
http://forums.ngemu.com/nulldc-discussion/
Sound works very well in Project Justice in r78.

1.0.6 ? maybe you mean 1.0.0 b1.6 ? :p
Anyway, does this problem still happen as of r78 ?

Yes. It might be 1.0.0 b1.6 - that's possible... dunno : /
However, I've got 1.0.4 r22 now and it runs Project Justice near-perfectly
(*Wild Daigo's 'fumes' still cause a slight graphical glitch with the
background on some stages).
As far as the 'Verified Failed : TaCmd!=0 in TASplitter::Dma -> src\ta.cpp :
19' error with r77 and r78, I did download the latest C++ (via ngemu) and also
installed the missing 'D3DX9_43.dll' file it was asking for, but to no avail -
error still present. Hence why I went to an earlier revision, which works fine
seemingly.
Thanks either way.

"installed the missing 'D3DX9_43.dll'".
You should delete that file and get the full DirectX 9.0c installed:

Having Vista/Win7 with DX10 installed doesn't mean you have a proper DX9
install.

Installed it but nada - still gettin' the 'Verified Failed : TaCmd!=0 in
TASplitter::Dma -> src\ta.cpp : 19' error : /
No matter. If there isn't an exact fix for this problem I'll just stick to the
1.0.4 r22 version - it seems to be working well. At least until a full
official release comes along ^_-
