I also agree, it seems sometimes when a letter is clicked it doesn't input the
letter. Maybe the sensitivity or something needs to be increased? I think
adding a
click sound would help users to notice if they missed a letter also, just an
idea...

I think I know what the problem with the keyboard is. To input a letter, it
must be
pushed and released. I think the letter should be inputted just as it is
pushed, not
after it is pushed then released. I think this was supposed to be a helpful
feature
so if you pushed a button accidentally you could drag the stylus off the button
and
release, and the button would not be pushed. This is very functional for the
navigation buttons, but is more of a nuicance with the keyboard. Would this be
easily changed?

Uff... it's pretty much ingrained in the button logic. This is how most DS
keyboards
I tried worked. Well, the one in Etrian Odyssey works like that at least, and
Zelda
triggers all UI events on stylus up too. I dunno, maybe the sound effect thing
is the
best solution..

DSOrganize has a keyboard that's quite like a real computer's keyboard, as far
as responsiveness goes: you can press & release to input a character, or you
can press and hold to input characters while you're holding. (It also clicks
each time a character is inputted.)

Perhaps something like that could be implemented?
