Screen flickers when exiting bookmarks, and when scrolling all the way up or down #70

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. enter and exit bookmarks (or)
2. scroll to the top or bottom of the page, and try to continue scrolling
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The screen flashes

What version of the product are you using?
0.6.3

I've fixed the nastier up/down flicker part of this in my WIP inline images 
version.
The other part (exit bookmarks = flash) is not done - bookmarking is broken ATM!
