no wireless recognition #91

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run bunjaloo 0.7
2. navigate to page
3. wireless never recognized

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to navigate and display any online webpage. Instead it refuses to
acknowledge my wifi connection

What version of the product are you using?
0.7

Please provide any additional information below.
I've set up my ds wifi via Tetris Ds and can play other users from around
the globe so I know my wifi connection is good. I'm at a university and had
to register the MAC address of my DS to get online. This registration with
the school changes no settings on the DS and has been completed so I can
play games on wifi. The wireless icon on the right of the toolbar of
Bunjaloo displays a white X in a circle and when i navigate to a page it
gives the loading spinning circle and then eventually (after about 60
seconds) becomes a horizontal bar rather than an X.

I imagine that your wireless AP is not compatible with the dswifi library. The
bar
icon means "something bad happened"[1]. Can you run other homebrew wireless
stuff? Or
do just commercial games connect?

[1] I really should add better feedback there.
