Question:

our project is almost finished and we are dealing with the final adjustments, layout and formalia. One important question is if and how you would like to be acknowledged as our contact within the UNHCR. Second, we are struggling with how to reference the source of data. We are considering a wording like this: "The data used in the vizualization is collated by the UNHCR, sourced from governments and UNHCR operations. Latest data stems from mid-2021 (. It is accessed via the Refugee Statistics API. Here you find the documentation of the API: https://api.unhcr.org/docs/refugee-statistics.html. Yes it sound all good. You can see here : https://www.unhcr.org/terms-and-conditions-data.html the terms and conditions. Usually, a simple “Source : NHCR Refugee Population Statistics Database” is enough.

The main source of data is the UNHCR Refugee Population Statistics Database, latest data is from mid-2021. It is accessed via the Refugee Statistics API.
