Not everything fits onto my main HD, and usually once an album is finished, I back it up onto a backup HD and put that into the shelf. If I could tell the app that the song is backed up, and also on which harddrive ("Backup 2023 - 3", let me specify the name of the HD it's on), then it coild actually become the global archive for all the projects. It keeps the screenshots etc, so when I need to pull up a song from 3 years ago, I can look it up in the app, look up all the versions if it actually has what I need, and I don't end up browsing through 3 different HDs before finally finding the right session. That would be a huge time saver for those moments when I need something from an old song I worked on and start sweating over when and to which HD I backed it up.
