Hello. I added a GitHub issue here about whether or not I fall under the allowed people to join, but i'm gonna just throw the PR up anyway just in case

Hey, thank you for this and apologies for the delayed reply. I'm going to close this PR as I think communities are a little out of scope of the webring's goal. There is more information about this decision in the companion issue.
