Even with compatibility mode, the passwords generated are completely different to the Firefox original.

Is this a general comment or a recent regression? It has been a while since I compared it with firefox.

Never tried at a time when it worked.

Why would it be generating different passwords?

This was originally based off the firefox code so they both used to be identical
