2 months ago @benjamindamm , hi we have some more recent version released since 2.55.1.
Please, try to run latest versions (3.0.0-alphaX or 2.60.x) if you have no specific requirements to run erigon 2.55.1.
Also you can try to run erigon as a docker container on your Macbook using "snapshot" docker image based on last commit in main branch.
You can run it using following command:
docker run -d --name erigon erigontech/erigon:main-latest ${YOUR_FLAGS}.
