disk utility error?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.utility - disk utility - erase free space(zero out deleted files)
2.utility - disk utility - repair disk permission
3.

What netbook are you using this on?
Dell mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1.utility - disk utility - erase free space(zero out deleted files)...
→ This will reduce the Ghost Backup partition image size.
but, boot and shutdown is very very very slow~~ It's very serious problem 
to me.
boot time is about 2 minutes.. and shutdown time is quite long, too.

Leopard does not slow.

2.utility - disk utility - repair disk permission...
It displayed that it can't be to repair permission.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
10.6 Retail install by NBM 0.8.3 final → 10.6.2 update
