keyboard layout of Dell 10v doesn't match OS X

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install OS X 10.6.5 on a Dell Mini 10v

What netbook are you using this on?

Dell 1011 (10v), 2gb RAM

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

the keyboard layout of the physical keys is considerably different from the UK 
or US layouts in OS X, for example the "@" symbol is  the double comma 
quotation marks are on my Macbook. Does anyone know which key layout in OSX 
might match?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

not sure, it is titled "MBI for 10.6.5"

I did find a good key layout.
I still have a lot of permissions errors, and am not too happy with the tiny 
trackpad. but apart from this, I love the Hackintosh.
