Proposed ampersand redesign #4

Hi Erik, thinking further about differentiating your design from Product Sans & others out there, I had a play with the ampersand design and came up with this. I like how it has a strong horizontal line to it, which links up to the crossbars in other letters.

What do you think? No problem if you don't want to use it, or you would prefer it as an alternate glyph :)

I also haven't spaced or kerned it, I was focused more on the outline itself.

I'm going to take a stab at the existing ampersand first – make it a little more upright and less droopy.

No worries, I'd suggest with the current ampersand that the top counter is made a little smaller than the bottom one, I think it might be a bit evenly balanced at the moment which might be making it more top-heavy / droopy.
