It is not specified what is the purpose of the archived list. If it is indeed to keep a record of the contacts, then I believe deleting a policy shouldn't affect this list.

Hi, thank you for pointing this out. We would add the purpose of the archive into the UG. The archive is meant as a way to store clients which may not be currently relevant to the insurance agent. For example, clients which are no longer managed by the agent. The agent may decide not to delete the client straight away, in case they happen to start interacting again, so they can store them in the archive. The agent can always unarchive the archived client, for which case he would become active. If that's the case, we would still require the clients policy to be correct, so clearing policies would still affect the archive.
