How to install into gitbook editor and/or on an existing book ...?

Hi,

I don't think that plugins are integrated in gitbook editor now. BTW, you'd create an issue for it, as it'll be certainly necessary for some users.

In order to add this plugin to an existing book, be sure to update gitbook to version 0.4.2 or later. Then, follow the README.md guide :

Create a book.json file with configuration options
$ npm install gitbook-plugin-richquotes to update the modules in your project
Use quotes with annotation in your book content.
