Look like ponysay not work in wayland-terminal #236

I'm testing ans using weston build-in terminal not render properly anypony, so the issue is resuméd to

anyone want test this aside of me?

Don't look like there is anything that can be done about that except reporting it to the weston developers.

This is more of a terminal issue than a ponysay issue. As a contrast, try xterm (which should work perfectly). But I agree with Mattias, looks like the only thing you can do is report it to the devs (possibly there's a gap between characters on the terminal?).

Well, now that either gnome and kde have wayland sessions the only thing we can test is run ponysay in these wayland terminals, so we can confirm if is a weston-terminal issue or a wayland issue.

I can't remember if it was LXTerminal, QTerminal, or both, but at least one of them had this problem.

I get this in qterminal. The severity varies depending on the particular font / font size.
